Vocational Nursing Program – Full Time (12 Months)

In 12 months this award winning program will help the Vocational Nursing student to gain knowledge through classroom instruction, realistic skills lab training, and clinical practice in actual healthcare settings. Training will include:

- Common Disease Processes
- Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Maternal-Child Health
- Mental Health
- Pharmacology
- Leadership and Supervision.
Four-D College’s Vocational Nursing program will prepare you to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN).
Program Hours and Accreditation
The Vocational Nursing program consists of 1564 clock hours that are divided into four modules of which 610 are theory hours and 954 are clinical hours.
Classes are held at the Colton and Victorville campuses and clinical rotations are held in selected hospitals and agencies in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
Accreditation is by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians and the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED and pass an entrance examination.
