Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician is an individual who under the direct supervision and control of pharmacist performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, IV medications, over-the-counter consulting, insurance or other non-discretionary tasks related to the processing of a prescription in a licensed pharmacy.
Our Pharmacy Technician Program is 8 months in length for the morning and afternoon session and 11 months for the Evening Session. The Pharmacy Technician Program prepares the student for the Pharmacy Technician State Boards, which is the examination to practice as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. The outstanding program consists of both classroom lecture and clinical instruction in actual Pharmacy Technician situations. Clinical rotations are held in selected hospitals and agencies in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
The Pharmacy Technician program is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and approved by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary and Vocational Education and the California Pharmacy Board.
