Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant Profession is a very versatile health care career. The Medical Assistant program training here at Four-D College prepares the students to work in various medical facilities such as doctor offices, clinics, hospitals and insurance companies. The U. S. Department of Labor projects growth in this field of 215,000 medical assistants through 2012.Students will be trained to work the front (administrative) and back (clinical) office efficiently to obtain an entry-level position. The Medical Assistant Program is 8 months in length for day and afternoon sessions and 10-1/2 months for evening sessions.
The Medical Assistant program is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and approved by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary and Vocational Education and the National Medical Association.
Admissions Requirements:
Applicants may be admitted who are 17 years of age and older and hold a high school diploma or GED or those applicants that have the ability to benefit from such training. Applicants must pass an entrance exam and complete an application.
