Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant Program is an 8-month program. It prepares the student to work in various settings including front and back office. This program consists of classroom and clinical instruction in actual dental assisting situations. Externships are held in selected dental offices located in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Classes are held at the Colton Campus.
The program includes training to perform theoretical skills to qualify for entry-level positions as a member of Dental staff in Dental offices. The Certification Course Process of Coronal Polish and Dental X Ray's are done on actual patients and Certification of CPR.
The Dental Assistant program is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), and approved by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary and Vocational Education.
Admissions Requirements:
Applicants may be admitted who are 17 years and older and hold a high school diploma or GED or those applicant that have the ability to benefit from such training. Applicant must pass an entrance exam and complete an application |
